Singapore Amicus International School was originally founded in November, 2014, as a private English school for whoever wished to learn English, with native English-speaking teachers.
SAI School was licensed by the Department of Education branch of the Ministry of Education of Cambodia as an English school on 15th January, 2015. On 22nd April, 2016, SAI School, once again, was licensed by the Ministry of Education, this time as an International School. The International status enabled it to provide full primary curriculum services, according to the needs of the students. SAIS is the first Singapore School in Preah Sihanouk province that has been assigned ratings by the Department of Education, Youth and Sport.
This school was established in January 2015, as a private English school, at the time it was named the British English School. From its earliest days it enjoyed the support of a number of students and parents whose contribution is gratefully acknowledged. Two factors, namely the intent to expand its network, with campuses nationwide and its ability to operate at a profit to ensure its sustainability, led both its board and international partners to conclude that it should be transformed into an International School.
